Overall, a decent value for an entry-level LiPo pack. Good room, and enough contemporary (25C) for most any RTR vehicle.The complete connector seems to work well - I used the Deans tip, and it fits exceptionally steadily, no chance of it being casually disconnected. Adds a bit of bulk to the connector, but not bad.My only real gripe is the positioning and point of the balance and power leads on the pack itself - the opening is set in the focal point of the pack, along one edge. This seems to be calculated to allow the leads to angle up or honest out from the pack - good in scheme, but the opening seems too small to actually angle the leads absolutely in either management, pinching the leads a bit and making me worry about the long-term life of my pack. (I'm in succession these in a Losi XXXT, so the battery hold-down strap causes bonus vex here, but that's my conundrum not the packs)ALso since both the balance & power leads exit the pack via a single opening, right in the focal point, which I find inconvenient since the large power wires get in the way of the short balance lead. - B. I bought one of these to see how it compared to my Traxxas battery of nearly the same specification. My Traxxas is 2S 5800 mAh 25C so the only difference is that the Traxxas has a slightly higher mAh rating. I have two Traxxas Rustler VXL's so I was able to run this one side by side against the Traxxas battery which cost about $20 more on Amazon. Guess what, the charges finished including 30 seconds of one a further. Dont waste the extra money for the Traxxas. The Venom has a hard case which is holding up way better then the shrink wrap this is on my Traxxas. Not only that but the Venom battery in fact fits better in my Traxxas Rustler then the Traxxas battery. This is because of the way the cables enter this battery come out of top on the end right on middle rather then coming right out the extremely end of the battery. When you jam the Traxxas battery into the Rustler battery compartment the cable have to turn hard 90 degrees up rto exit the battery compartment. Not a problem including the Venom as the cables are already pointed up exiting the top of the battery. Also, connecting to the stock Traxxas connectors was a snap including the provided adapters. I was worried that I wouldnt like the adapters so I was preparation on cutting the Venom promote off and installing a factory Traxxas promote. However, I am happy including the Venom adapter and resolute to stay including it. Once you snap it in place it becomes a intregral part of the battery and seems to be plenty strong and works well including the Traxxas promote on my car. I bought a second Venom battery after I proved to myself that I liked the first. Now I have a set of Traxxas and a set of Venoms to go including my (and my sons) two Rustlers. I highly recomend this battery for Traxxas Rustler owners. If you see a YouTube video out there showing you how to modify your car so you can put differnt brands of batteries in it dont do it. Buy this battery as a replacement for. Its awesome and will save you some hard earned $$$
