This proved to be one of my smallest amount favorite heli's. Controls were extremely poor. Uses infrared to control and it lost contact with the remote too easy. Had maybe 10 minutes of flying total before it was permanently made known of operation due to bringing up the rear signal and crashing hard severing the cable to the motor and breaking.

Works splendid, easy to control. Works best indoors or in no wind.We have numerous basic remote control helicopters. Our obsession started with a develop we got from a department store that built-in a tractor trailer. That helicopter had very limited potential and no forwards/backwards control.Next we bought numerous Syma S107 models. This one is almost identical to the S107; the only differences I can find besides the paint scheme are a larger weigh bar and different shaped potential connector - the S107 is check, this one is round. Otherwise each little cut looks identical and they are of the same quality, including the remote which seemed solid and worked fine for us. Both this develop and the S107 have 3D reins: vertical (up/down), left/right rotation, and forwards/backwards which activates the small prop on the tail. It also has spin refinement to keep the helicopter facing the same direction normally, and a cool sharp bluish colorless LED headlight on the nose. These models fly much better than our at the start heli flying at our elevation (6000 feet higher than sea amount). There is less air to provide lift at higher altitudes which consequences in less lift and shorter helpful flight era. Even if this Hover CX is slightly heavier than the S107 (42g vs 38g), it has longer flight era (heavier battery?) and has better lift. Guess numerous minutes of flight time before you have to recharge the battery.Treat gently; these are built to be light and will soon break if you blow them or handle roughly. Probably best for ages 12 to adult because of this. Do not fly out-of-doors except there is NO wind. These are very easy to fly, but I urge flying over a large bed or carpet until you get the hang of it. Also the batteries can get too weak to use fairly quickly. For better battery life you must always store with a full charge. Many replacement parts are void here on amazon for the S107; most must work fine for the Hover CX. The EZflyRC website also has replacement parts particularly for this develop.UPDATE:With about 30 minutes of use ours began to spin in circles and we couldn't find the problem. The manufacturer website didn't have a buzz number but there's an online contact form we used and they sent us a new one which is effective splendid!

Mini Helicopters are a ton of fun. I got this helicopter for my Husband shortly after I had purchased him the Syma S107/S107G R/C Helicopter - Blue. This is important because I will compare the two helicopters throughout the review. Both of these helicopters are a lot of fun for the whole family. When my Husband grabs the helicopter controller I get excited, the dog gets excited and we all laugh nervously as he bounces them up and down around the house.First of all I will say that it does take a little bit of practice to get used to controlling any mini helicopter. Make sure you turn rancid any ceiling fans and/or air conditioners that could cause "wind" in the room and remove any breakables. My Husband was capable to get the fall of it after about 30-40 minutes of practice. Now for the comparison of the two helicopters. The Syma is Blue and priced currently at $23.50. The EZ Fly has an angry bird face painted on the front and is currently $39.99. Other than the paint job, the helicopters themselves are almost identical. There is a slight difference in the top balance bar, but it does not make a difference when it comes to flight. The EZ Fly also has a slightly better charger (the plug is different), but the Syma charger does not have any issues. The EZ Fly also came with approximately extra propellers, a tail rotor and a small screwdriver. The Syma only came with an extra tail rotor (Although you can buy a complete Syma replacement set for $4 as an add-on). The last difference comes with the remote. The left joystick in the EZ Fly differs from the left joystick on the Syma. My Husband prefers the Syma joystick and says the throttle moves smoother. These are all slight differences and the reason why I am sharing the other mini helicopter with you is simple. This EZ Fly is a great helicopter, but why pay more for practically the same thing? Buy the Syma S107/S107G R/C Helicopter - Blue and save yourself approximately money.TIP- if you have issues with the remote not effective, open the remote and re-solder the wires. This did not happen to me with either of these helicopters, but it happened with a cheaper version. I have read that it is a common issue with mini helicopters.

This is my initially RC helicopter and I announce I had no idea how much enjoyable it is to mess about including these things! Ideally, you will aspire a generous room including distinguished ceilings to fly your helicopter in. We did not have this so our helicopter has crashed into the ceiling and walls and various pieces of furniture manifold era. The amazing business is including the intention of is has not broken including all these crashes. It is extremely water supply-built. A further skilled business is including the intention of it also comes including extra rotors and a tail blade just in explanation you do call for to replace them in explanation of destruction. Short the helicopter is difficult and the directions don't aid extremely much; it is actually just a administer of examination and error and experimenting including various schedule of the potential sticks. Lone minus is including the intention of it doesn't last extremely lingering on a single payment. Though, it easily charges by plugging it into the USB haven of your pad.Overall, I think this is a great RC helicopter. It is amazingly water supply-built and so much enjoyable to fly!

This helicopter was ready to fly right out of the box. Directions were straight forwards and the reins were very easy to setup. Calibration of the remote took less than 2 outline and had the helicopter airborne for numerous outline, or at least until it looked-for a payment. The insignia are awe-inspiring and its very lasting. All three kids took turns in in succession the helicopter and it is loads of fun to use. Make sure the room or area has high ceilings and no wind from fans or open windows. It will give you loads of fun, with a modest do.Vastly recommended!

This is a fun little copter and is a sweet interesting construction. Give came with a bit of a conundrum with the intention of through it look be fond of it was defective. The feeler at the top for getting the signals was depressed a bit so the copter wouldn't hear my power commands. Some calculate ago I adjusted equipment all worked smoothly. It took me quite a even as to get a hang of the flying and I needed plenty of effective opportunity (if not I given up the ghost, though didn't break whatever business). Some calculate ago you get the hang of it it is fun! This would make a fun gift, though here are beyond doubt some cheaper options with the intention of peek be fond of as greatly fun. I'm looking forwards to flying it at my daughter's teach gym one day for some real direction opportunity. I have not tried it outside (too cold currently) and it is not recommended according to the instructions.

This is a commanding modest helicopter. It's fun and easy to maneuver. Yes, it does take numerous practice runs but it's splendid fun. It has splendid lift! We have another brand but this one has better lift. The battery last longer than the other one. I recommend this toy. Keep in mind you won't get hours of play on a charge. It doesn't last very long, maybe 10 or so summary. But it does recharge quickly.
